Why the Emergency Relief program?
Natural disasters and unexpected crises can leave individuals and families in urgent need of support. From floods, bushfires, and cyclones to tragic events impacting the local community, these emergencies demand swift and compassionate action.
The Emergency Relief Program ensures that those facing hardship receive immediate financial aid and assistance, funded through both Zakat and Sadaqah. By establishing a dedicated, ongoing initiative, NZF can respond quickly when disaster strikes—offering relief, restoring dignity, and helping communities rebuild.
For Zakat funds, we will follow our established Zakat assessment framework to determine eligibility.
Who is this program for?
The Emergency Relief Program is for anyone in the community who is experiencing financial hardship due to a disaster or crisis. Whether it’s individuals and families impacted by floods, bushfires, or cyclones, or those affected by unforeseen communal tragedies, this program provides urgent financial assistance when it’s needed most.
Eligibility & Application process
The application and validation process is done by the NZF Team with confidentiality. Any information given will only be used to determine the best way we can help you. You can apply online through our application form below.
