Arabian Heritage Association, established in 2014, initiated weekend Arabic lessons in Riverton for children. From an unpredictable start with 44 students, it has now served 350+ children and 187 families, embracing diversity among Western Australia residents from 21 countries and 29 ethnicities. Beyond language education, the association fosters social gatherings, traditional celebrations, and intercultural exchanges. For over 5 years, they've organised community events, Eid celebrations, managed a marriage register, and supported new immigrants in settlement and cultural guidance.
Arabian Heritage Association will collaborate closely with NZF to facilitate and coordinate Palestinian families arriving in Perth. They will refer clients to NZF's Warm Embrace (Assisting Gaza Arrivals) Program.
