Al-Amanah was established by Chimayatul A Arifin, also known within the community as Mya Arifin. Mya is an accomplished personal trainer for women, an Islamic educator, a youth mentor, and an author. Her passions extend to mental health, volunteering, and literacy advocacy.
The fundamental goal of Al-Amanah revolves around providing beneficial services to the community. These encompass a diverse array of offerings, ranging from personalised one-on-one youth mentoring, engaging halaqah sessions, and enlightening workshops to insightful publications and accessible online resources.
Mya's aspiration goes beyond mere service provision; she is dedicated to collaborative community engagement. She doesn't simply aim to work for the community; rather, she strives to work with the community. Recognising the paramount importance of a robust community in Islam, she deeply values and comprehends its role as a strong foundation for unity—both physically and spiritually.
Al-Amanah is dedicated in educating our youth through their Islamic workshops and halaqahs. NZF refers clients to Al-Amanah when we recognise that their needs extend beyond financial support.
